Archaeological
Texts can supply archaeological texts for any purpose. These can include
academic courses, lectures and captions as well as texts for a variety
of other uses.
what
information is needed?
We need to know how many words are required, the aim of the text and the
tone of the piece, whether scholarly, straightforwardly informative, light-hearted
or whatever. It is also useful to know what sort of audience is being
addressed. Age, level of knowledge, whether tourists or not, native English
speakers and so on.
what
about illustrations?
If illustrations, whether pictures, diagrams or maps, have to be described
or explained, a copy of the illustration will need to be provided. However,
we can supply original drawings or diagrams to order but not photographs.
Those will have to be your responsibility.
how
is the material delivered by Archaeological Texts?
Usually the text is on disk but, of course, it can be provided on paper.
Illustrations will be in a ‘camera-ready’ state.
